Colton Haynes has signed up for the superhero game, TVGuide reports.
The 24-year-old former Teen Wolf star has joined the CW’s Arrow as Roy Harper.
In the DC Comics universe, Roy was the Green Arrow’s sidekick Speedy, Teen Titans member Arsenal, and the Justice League’s drug-addicted, one-armed Red Arrow.
In the hit CW show, Roy is described as “a handsome, street-savvy, teenager from ‘the Glades,’ the harsh, poverty-stricken portion of Starling City.”
Colton‘s character will also be a love interest for Willa Holland‘s Thea.

If you’ve been on Twitter in the last few days, you’ve noticed that Instagram photos haven’t been showing up on your feed. Super annoying, right? Well, you might have to get used to it, as Twitter and Instagram have both confirmed that IG photos will no longer show up on the popular social media site.
Many believe that this is just another way that Instagram and Facebook (which bought IG for $8 billion back in April), is distancing itself from Twitter, since FB and Twitter are neck and neck as the Internet’s number one and number two social media sites. It was Instagram’s decision to stop displaying photos on Twitter feeds, as their chief executive, Kevin Systrom, said "We've decided that right now, what makes sense, is to direct our users to the Instagram website.”
In yet another interesting turn it’s being reported that Twitter, to compete with the photo-sharing app, will begin offering Instagram-like photo filters for users to put on their snapshots. Twitter senior designer Coleen Baik said in a blog post that users will “be able to edit and refine your photos, right from Twitter.” Adding, “The latest versions of Twitter for iPhone and Twitter for Android introduce a few new ways to enhance the images you tweet.”
Though some have been complaining about the lack of Instagram automatically showing up, most predict it won’t have much affect on the way people use Twitter. Also, many think Twitter is doing this in order to become a one-stop shop social media site — just like Facebook. Seems like a lot of drama for sites where people post pictures of their food and write quippy status updates!

Jaden Smith takes in her new surroundings in the new trailer for After Earth.
The film’s summary: In After Earth, one thousand years after cataclysmic events forced humanity's escape from Earth, Nova Prime has become mankind's new home. Legendary General Cypher Raige (Will Smith) returns from an extended tour of duty to his estranged family, ready to be a father to his 13-year-old son, Kitai (Jaden Smith).
When an asteroid storm damages Cypher and Kitai's craft, they crash-land on a now unfamiliar and dangerous Earth. As his father lies dying in the cockpit, Kitai must trek across the hostile terrain to recover their rescue beacon. His whole life, Kitai has wanted nothing more than to be a soldier like his father. Today, he gets his chance.
Isabelle Fuhrman also stars in the M. Night Shyamalan flick, out in 2013.

On fitting in in grade school: “The only horror story I have is when Annie, on which I played Molly, aired on ABC, all the kids in my elementary school thought I was super rich and chased me around the playground asking me for money. Other than that, everyone thought it was cool. In middle school and high school, I went to a performing arts school, so it wasn’t a big deal.”
On Modern Family: “An actor always hopes, but it was definitely a spectacular surprise [when the show succeeded].”
On her industry influences: “Shows like Friends, Will and Grace, and The Amanda Show, I watched all of them growing up. I never thought I was funny, but I guess my comedic timing comes from that.”
On constantly being compared to Mila Kunis: “Never. I think it’s the most flattering compliment I’ll ever get. One, she’s a wonderful person and very nice. And two, she's smokin'.”

Wait, we’re so confused! Earlier this week, it was announced that Oliver Kieran-Jones was joining the Glee cast as the leader of the glee club at NYADA, and a potential love interest for Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer). However, Kurt and Blaine (Darren Criss) look pretty cozy singing this Christmas duet! During an ice skating trip to NYC’s Bryan Park, the estranged couple sing “White Christmas” as they glide around the rink. So? Are they? Aren’t they? We guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens between these two! This certainly isn’t the first holiday tuned these two have belted out. Remember their amazing rendition of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”? Things sure have changed since then! Scotty McCreery sings a holiday tune for TNT’s Christmas In Washington 2012 held at the National Building Museum on Sunday evening (December 9) in Washington, D.C.
The 19-year-old country singer joined Demi Lovato, Megan Hilty, and Diana Ross at the annual event.
“Great time singing w/ @ddlovato @IamChrisMann @meganhilty and Diana Ross tonight for the President and the First family! It was a real honor,” he tweeted.
Christmas in Washington is a holiday tradition benefiting the Children’s National Medical Center and is attended each year by the President and First Lady, as well as many other Washington VIPs.
The event will air on Friday, December 21st @ 8PM ET/PT on TNT.

So much sadness for some of our favorite celebrity pets. Not too long ago, Miranda Cosgrove lost her 14-year-old pooch, Pearl, who was there for her since she first started kindergarten. Then, as we’ve seen all over Kim Kardashian‘s Twitter, her cute-as-can-be kitten, Mercy, passed away after suffering from a rare stomach cancer just last week. She was only four months old.
Now, two weeks after meeting the newest member of the Cyrus clan, Penny Lane, comes the shocking news that Miley Cyrus, too, lost a part of her pet family. Just a few moments after telling the world the she “can’t think of one good reason to get out of bed today…” Miley tweets,
for everyone asking… I have never been so hurt in my life. My heart has never been so broken….. Lila my sweet baby girl has passed away.

The Yorkie mix, who had just celebrated her second birthday this past November, visited the hospital early October for an unknown reason. As of this time, the cause of Lila’s passing is also unknown.

Hey guys! A few weeks ago, I did an episode of Joey’s Dystopia about the book series The Uglies, and now I’ve got another one! If you haven’t heard of it, this particular book series is about how all 16-year-olds get operations to go from "uglies" to "pretties," in a dystopian society. The transformation includes plastic surgery, getting movable tattoos and lots of other crazy stuff. So last time I was transformed into a “pretty” thanks to PhotoShop, but this time around I’m picking who I think should play the book’s characters if it ever gets turned into a movie or TV series!

Congrats, Chloe and Halle Bailey — the newest Radio Disney N.B.T. winners!
The big announcement was made after a live concert at The Americana in Glendale, Calif., on Saturday night (December 8). Fans will be able to watch the special event on Disney Channel on Friday, December 14th — so tune in!
Chloe and Halle will record a new single to be released by Disney Music Group, and even perform it on Austin & Ally.
Disney Channel stars in attendance at the event include Bella Thorne, Coco Jones, Sierra McCormick, Jake Short, Olivia Holt, Luke Benward, Laura Marano, Calum Worthy, Ryan Ochoa, Raini Rodriguez, and Ross Lynch (who also performed with his band, R5).
Chloe and Halle beat out Damian Otchere, Elle Winter, Jack Skuller, and Katherine Hughes for the top spot.
