Recently, news anchor Mark Rivera of WAND-TV in Decatur, Illinois brought his GF, Alissa Groeninger, on the news for what she thought was a routine interview about her job at the State Journal Register. However, he did a little switch-a-roo on her, and decided to pop the question on air! He began the interview normally, but then after revealing to the viewers that he had been dating Alissa for three years, he said, "Really, I only have one question to ask you. And it's the most important question I've ever asked anyone in my whole life.” After getting down on one knee, Alissa replied with “Of course,” and gave him a huge hug! Dani Shay recently posted a new music video on YouTube for her tune “One” and revealed a bit of interesting news — she’s currently dating fellow Glee Project contestant Ali Stroker. While the demise of Kurt Hummel and Blaine Anderson’s relationship a.k.a. Klaine has been regarded by Teen.com readers as the most traumatizing of the failed coupledoms on Glee (see here), it appeared that there was a glimmer of hope for a reunion between the two as Darren Criss and Chris Colfer were spotted shooting an ice-skating scene together in Bryant Park as recently as last month.

And, even more recently, Kurt called Blaine during the “Thanksgiving” episode, mentioning that he has not totally forgiven his ex, but they should at least discuss their issues in a mature manner because they both still love each other.

Seems like things are headed in a happy direction, right? Wrong! A new casting decision may affect the once happy twosome yet again. According to Deadline, “[Oliver] Kieran-Jones will play the leader of the glee club at NYADA, which new student Kurt Hummel is interested in joining.” This young British actor is said to be taking on a recurring role on the show, and may, as stated by The Hollywood Reporter, play “a potential love interest” for Colfer’s character.

We’ll see what happens, though. Remember when Grant Gustin was brought on board? He, too, was meant to provide a shake-up for Klaine. So stay tuned! What do you think of the latest casting decision? They’ve played father and son before — have you seen The Pursuit of Happyness? — and they’re about to do it again. In the trailer for Director M. Night Shyamalan‘s After Earth, real-life parent and child Will and Jaden Smith crash-land on a planet that was evacuated by humans 1,000 years prior to their arrival.

In the gritty two-minute-plus spot, Will’s character, Cypher Raige, explains to his son, Kitai (Jaden), ”If we are going to survive this, you need to remember fear is not real. It is a product of the thoughts you create. And do not misunderstand me. Danger is very real.” This quote is interlaced with sci-fi elements reminiscent of Avatar (like the creatures) and Transformers: Dark of the Moon (like the flying squirrel suits).

Other stars include The Hunger Games‘ Isabelle Fuhrman and X-Men: First Class‘ Zoe Kravitz. If you plan on seeing it in theaters, mark down June 7, 2013 in your calendars. Side Note: Does anyone love their accents? It can’t be just us.

Jesse McCartney and Adrienne Bailon team up for a day at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (December 8).

Working with the Ryan Nece Foundation, the duo, along with Julissa Bermudez, met with patients at the facility where they made arts and crafts, tree decorating, and made ornaments.

Jesse, Adrienne and Julissa also stopped by patient’s rooms who weren’t able to make it out to the common room. They delivered Christmas trees and a gift.

“Today at The Mattel Children’s Hospital. Everyone needs a little Christmas!” Jesse wrote.

Adrienne added, “Tis’ the season… So happy to join The Ryan Nece Foundation to hand out Christmas gifts at UCLA Children’s Hospital!”
