There’s a royal baby on the way — it’s been confirmed that Kate Middleton is pregnant with her first child! The palace announced the news with a statement reading: ”Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby,” continuing,”The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news.”
Though there have been many rumors of a royal pregnancy since Prince William and Kate’s wedding last April, it’s nice to see it officially confirmed. However, Kate has been checked into King Edward VII Hospital in London due to acute morning sickness, but is expected to be fine. Regardless, congratulations to the happy couple!
Since this will no doubt dominate the news for the next six months or so, you better believe there is already a parody account taking on the life of the coupe’s unborn baby. The person running this Twitter is certainly on top of it, as they started the account on April 29, 2011 — aka — the day of Kate and William’s royal wedding!
