We understand that the term “girl on fire” is totally overused when it comes to Jennifer Lawrence — blame it on The Hunger Games — but we’re going to submit to the cliche right now because less than a month after being dubbed one of Entertainment Weekly‘s Entertainers of the Year and after topping the New York Times‘ Hollywood Heroines list this week, she’s now being crowned with yet another title: ‘Most Desirable.’ Like we said, “on fire.”

In a poll conducted by AskMen.com, the 22-year-old received a major bump-up from her spot on last year’s ‘Most Desirable’ women round-up, #47, to #1, which was previously given to Sofia Vergara in 2011.

According to AskMen Editor-in-Chief James Bassil, Jenn received the recognition from his audience because “[o]verall, there’s a sense that she’s a little more authentic than other actors. She’s fresh because we haven’t seen her all over the gossip pages for the past three or four years.” Just to give you a clue as to how big of a deal this is, 2.4 million readers were surveyed. Whoa!
