Nikki Reed hitches a ride to the airport on Monday afternoon (December 10) in Studio City, Calif.

The 24-year-old actress headed to LAX with husband Paul McDonald and their dogs for a cross-country flight.

Nikki recently joined forces with Sean “Diddy” Combs and Esquire‘s Jack Essig to help promote responsible drinking for New Year’s Eve with free rides from trustworthy transportation partners.

Sponsored by Ciroc, the campaign will provide “safe ride” cards redeemable redeemable via taxis, black cars or other forms of transportation to adult consumers throughout major metropolitan cities nationwide.

Nikki will also surprise pedestrians with the cards earlier in the month to ensure they get home safely on New Year’s Eve.

“During the holiday season while we celebrate family, traditions, and the beginning of a new year, it’s extra important to do these things responsibly,” Nikki shared in a statement “If you are going to drink, please find a safe ride home. Catch a cab, a Safe Ride, subway, bus or pick a designated driver.”
