Though there have been a number of teasers and sneak peeks, the first official trailer for Man of Steel has been released! Starring British actor Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, this adaptation of the beloved superhero series certainly will take a deeper look into the Man of Steel’s back story. With an all-star cast including Kevin Costner and Diane Lane as his “earth” parents, Russell Crowe as Jor-El his “alien” father, and Amy Adams as Lois Lane, this will no doubt be one of next summer’s biggest blockbusters. While the plot it still relatively under wraps, the main villain Superman will be facing is General Zod, played by Michael Shannon. Directed by 300‘s Zack Snyder, Man of Steel hits theaters on June 14, 2013. Will you be heading to theaters to see this flick? Or is there another superhero movie you’re looking forward to in 2013?
